About GAPS Nutritional & Detox Protocol

What I have seen work

Food is not the only aspect to gut healing, but it is one of the foundational components. If we don’t stop the poisons (internal & external), stop feeding the pathogenic gut microbes and get the healing foods in, it is difficult to truly heal. We all need to incorporate detox principles, some even need to do a stronger/deeper detox protocol after much gut healing has occurred. Others need to incorporate trauma therapy work, energy healing, learn the importance of natural light & the sun and incorporate it into their life, work on sleep hygiene and stress management. We are all so different, but foundational to all healing is gut healing with proper nutritional whole foods.

I have not seen people heal with supplements alone, I’ve recommended this to people in the past and I have tried myself. It wasn’t until I learned of the GAPS nutritional protocol (developed by Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride, MD)that I began to see symptoms improve and resolve. Some people’s symptoms stop fairly quick, but the gut healing will take much longer, so you can’t go back to your old ways once you are feeling better. I’ve seen inflammatory bowel disease reverse, FPIES resolve, long standing eczema, brain fog and fatigue resolve in people following the GAPS nutritional protocol. There are numerous case studies and clinical information on the healing that can happen following the GAPS nutritional protocol. The GAPS nutritional protocol incorporates a nutritional based healing plan, gentle detox protocols and a few food based supplements. The GAPS nutritional protocol is not a quick or easy fix, but many people see improvements and resolution of their symptoms when they are able to implement it.

Other conditions/symptoms the GAPS nutritional protocol has helped improve or resolve: Addictions, Allergies, Alopecia, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, Anemia, Arthritis, Atopic conditions, Autism (the younger this is started the better), Asthma, Back pain (chronic), Bed wetting, Blood sugar Instability, Celiac Disease, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Colitis, Constipation (chronic), Crohn’s, Cyclical Vomiting Syndrome, Diabetes Type 1 and 2, Diarrhea (chronic), Digestive Illness, Ear infections (chronic), Failure to Thrive, Fatigue, Fibromyalgia, Food Allergy and Intolerances, FPIES, Gastritis, GERD, Glue Ear, Gluten Sensitivity, Hay Fever, Hair Loss, Headaches, Hormone Problems, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Immune System Insufficiency, Infertility, Lupus, Lyme Disease, Malabsorption, Malnourishment, Myalgic Encephalomyelitis, Menstrual Problems, Migraine, Milk Allergy, Mold Sensitivity/Allergy, Multiple Chemical Sensitivity, Multiple Sclerosis, Neurological Illness, Neuropathies, Nephropathy, Esophagitis, Osteoporosis, PANDAS, Parasites, PCOS, Psoriasis, Reflux, Restless Leg Syndrome, Rosacea, Sinusitis (chronic), Thyroid Problems, Ulcerative Colitis, Urinary Problems, Vaginal Problems.
